About Truckiqo

Truckiqo is an independent software product for food truck operators, from a single truck to small fleets. This website publishes the permit checklists and guides; the app itself lives at app.truckiqo.com.

Who is behind Truckiqo

Truckiqo is built and published independently. It is not a government service, a permit expediter or a law firm, and no commissary, insurer or permit service pays to appear in our checklists. You can reach the people behind it at contact@truckiqo.com.

Why it exists

Food truck rules live across hundreds of city, county and state offices, often as PDFs or phone-only information, and they change. Operators who work more than one city end up tracking permits, commissary agreements and inspections in their heads or on a whiteboard. Truckiqo puts each jurisdiction’s requirements, with sources, next to your own documents and their expiry dates.

How we research and check rules

  • Official sources first. Every requirement comes from the issuing office’s own published page, form or ordinance, linked so you can read it yourself. Where a rule is only available by phone or email, we say so.
  • A person checks every rule. Software may help find and draft rules from official pages, but a person checks each one against its source before it is published.
  • Dated and re-checked. Each rule shows the date it was last checked and has a re-check interval. Rules past that interval are flagged as possibly out of date.
  • Articles follow the data. A city or county article is published only once that jurisdiction’s rule set is in our database, and it is updated when the rules change. Facts on permit pages never come from memory.
  • One jurisdiction per page. Each page covers one city, county or state with its own rules, sources and dates. We do not publish near-duplicate city pages.
  • Corrections. If you know a rule has changed, email us the page and the official source. We check it and update the page.
